Are you hospitable, organized, and love making things run smoothly for both guests and colleagues? Then we’re looking for you!
JOINN! is seeking an enthusiastic Reservations Officer who ensures a warm welcome and a seamless booking process for our City Lofts.
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team where everyone helps each other out. We love to get things done, but we also value a fun and friendly atmosphere. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests and ensure that everything runs smoothly both in front of and behind the scenes. In other words, you’re the face of JOINN!
What will you do?
- Answer phone calls, emails, online inquiries, and in-person questions
- Create quotes and process confirmations
- Handle changes, cancellations, and special requests
- Welcome guests and manage check-ins
- Resolve complaints or booking issues (independently or with the team)
- Manage the planning to ensure optimal occupancy and revenue
- Provide tours and tailor advice to companies and individuals based on their interests and needs
- Co-manage the housekeeping team and create their schedules
- Prepare invoices and process payments
- Contribute ideas for promotions and process improvements
- Act as the communication hub between guests, bookers, businesses, housekeeping, and colleagues
Who are you?
- Friendly and solution-oriented
- Organized, accurate, and clear in your communication
- Proactive, flexible, and able to switch between tasks quickly
- Genuinely hospitable – you listen to guest needs and exceed expectations
- Able to remain calm and maintain an overview under pressure
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Experienced with reservation systems or quick to learn new software (experience with MEWS is a plus)
- Able to work independently and thrive in a team environment

- A position for 24 to 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

- Salary according to the Dutch Hospitality Collective Agreement, scale 3–4 (€2,372 – €2,683 gross based on full-time)
